Upon arrival in Bali, you will be met in the arrivals area by your local guide holding a name-board. After a warm welcome and brief introduction, take a private airport transfer to your hotel in Ubud for assistance with check-in. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.
Visit the ancient Gunung Kawi Temple, one of the oldest temples in Bali built in the 11th century. We’ll have the opportunity to experience the mystery of these historical remains crafted in the side of a small mountain. Bring your good walking shoes! This Temple includes a bit of a climb on steps. Your trip continues to Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave) – this site is mentioned in the Javanese poem Desawarnana written in 1365. An extensive bathing place on the site was not excavated until the 1950s. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. Afterwards, drive to visit the Muji Art Gallery and then later head to the Museum Puri Lukisan, one of the most attractive painting museums in which was opened in 1956 to preserve and exhibit rich traditional and modern Balinese arts. Visit Puri Saren Agung, the Ubud Palace from where Ubud was ruled in the late 1800s until World War II and then walk across the palace to visit the Art Market before returning to your hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel you will be met at the appointed time for your leisurely transfer to your hotel on Kuta Beach. The rest of the day is at your leisure,
Today’s journeys heads into the western regency of Tabanan, known as Bali’s rice bowl, due to its fertile, abundant rice fields. Visit the Subak museum, which explains Bali’s world renowned unique system of irrigating rice fields. Some short walks will lead you to coffee, cocoa and spices which are growing in the wild followed by a demonstration of all the steps of rice cultivation. Before enjoying the ride through the most beautiful rice terraces in Bali near Jatiluhe, visit Pura Batu Karu, one of the holiest temples in Bali, also called the jungle temple, due to its location. You will get an impressive picture of Balinese temple concepts that will help to understand the historic development of Hinduism in Bali. The next visit will be to Munduk Waterfall - with some soft trekking to reach the flowing waters before returning to your hotel.
The morning is at your leisure. In the afternoon you will be picked up for a ride along the hills of Bali’s southern peninsula. This area, known as Bukit, offers a landscape and topography unequalled by any other region on the island. Visit the highly venerated Uluwatu temple, one of the oldest temples in Bali, built on the most southern cliffs facing the Indian Ocean. Free living and curious monkeys will be your new friends during your temple visit. The stunning sunset will be the backdrop for the Kecak Dance performance near the temple, a memorable climax for this evening, a spectacular and dramatic dance performance with up to 100 dancers interpreting a part of the Ramayana story, also known as the Ramayana Monkey Chant.
After breakfast, meet at the hotel for your transportation to the airport.
