Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be met by your local guide in the arrivals area holding a name-board. After a warm welcome & brief introduction, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.
Your tour begins in Delhi with a culinary exploration of the city followed by a visit to Old Delhi. While in Old Delhi, visit Jama Masjid before boarding our cycle rickshaws for a tour of Chandni Chowk. Today, you also make a quick visit to some of Old Delhi’s best known eateries such as Paranthe Wali Gali. Next, head to New Delhi to visit the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial. Continue the tour passing by the Parliament House, the President’s House and India Gate and then visit Humayun's Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This evening, join a welcome dinner prepared by celebrity chef Manish Mhrotra.
This morning you will be driven to Old Delhi for a nihari breakfast, a stew made from beef or lamb and curry. Continue to a Gurudwara (Sikh temple) and witness the community kitchen where thousands of worshippers are fed round the clock. After lunch, return to the hotel for a short rest before heading to the famous Akshardham Temple. Next, make a visit to Chor Bazaar restaurant to sample the Kashmiri Wazwan cuisine prepared by one of Delhi’s most experienced chefs.
This morning you will be met and transferred to the airport for your flight to Lucknow. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and rest before your afternoon guided tour of La Martiniere College. Later, drive to 'Chowk', to shop the unique crafts. This evening, take a culinary walk to taste some of the best street foods followed by local "Paan" Betel leaf with areca nut. Return to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the evening free at your leisure.
Today, after breakfast Visit Lucknow Residency, a place where speechless walls are known to speak the tale of the 1857 mutiny. Today’s tour also includes a visit to Sadat Ali Tomb, Chatar Manzil, Asifi Imambarar, Rumi Darwawa & The Asfi Mosque. Later, visit the Husainabad complex, where you can see the highest clock tower in Asia, before entering the Husainabad Imambara, known for its beauty and pieces of decor. Stop for lunch at the Royal Café before driving to Kaiserbagh complex, once Nawab Wajid-Ali Shah’s Palace. Later this evening, enjoy a special cooking class & home hosted dinner followed by an exclusive live interpreted Kthak dance performance.
Morning, drive to Agra. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and have some time to freshen up before your afternoon visit to Agra Fort - the seat and the stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. Later, drive to the Sadar Bazar to taste chaat crawl (savoury snacks like fried potatoes or samosa broken into pieces with chutney). End the tour with tasting of “Petha”, a sweet candy very typical of Agra. Tonight, the dinner will be at the hotel.
Early this morning, visit the Taj Mahal. It is fitting to see this extraordinary monument by the first light of day as its exemplary beauty is awe-inspiring and will create an unforgettable memory. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, drive to Jaipur en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel.
After an early breakfast, start on an excursion to Amber Fort. Jaipur’s Maharaja Man Singh, Mughal Emperor Akbar’s most successful General, started constructing Amber Fort in the 17th century. Later, visit Anokhi Museum followed by lunch at Anokhi Café. Afterwards, visit City Palace built within the fortified area of the original city. Later, head to iconic Hawa Mahal also called the Palace of the Winds followed by visiting Jantar Mantar, an observatory built by Sawai Jai Singh ll in the 18th century. Evening is reserved for the Diwali celebration followed by a vegetarian home cooked dinner.
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and get ready for your drive to Jodhpur. Stop en-route at Ajmer for lunch. On arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy some time free at your leisure.
Early this morning, you will visit a Bishnoi village by jeep. On this drive, you will explore the Thar Desert driving through rugged scrub desert. While on tour, you will have an opportunity to interact with the Bishnoi tribes and see the local life followed by your picnic breakfast in a traditional Bishnoi family homestead. Later, return to the hotel and have the morning at your leisure. This afternoon, you will visit Rajasthan’s most formidable fortress - the Mehrangarh Fort before taking a Tuk Tuk into the “Blue City” where you can explore the central bazaar. Dinner tonight is at Hanwant Mahal.
Morning, drive through the Rajasthani countryside and the Aravalli hill range to Deogarh. Post lunch; proceed on a drive in a specially customized four wheel drive vehicle. The drive continues along the Ragho Sagar Lake where you will be told about the birdlife here before you stop at the family cenotaphs. The next stop is the Cave Temple. Here, you will learn about Hinduism and Spirituality. Afterwards, you will be driven further inside the hinterland crossing many farmlands, where you see villagers returning home with their goats, buffaloes and cows. The drive ends by a lake where tea and cookies are served amidst the gorgeous sunset. Evening, enjoy a cooking demonstration followed by dinner at the hotel.
Today, drive to Udaipur en-route visiting the White Marble Jain Temple Complex at Ranakpur. Enjoy your lunch at charming Fatehbagh and continue the drive to Udaipur. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day free at your leisure. This evening, dinner will be at a local specialty restaurant.
This morning, take a tour of the city visiting the City Palace followed by a private tour of the Crystal Gallery. Later visit mid-17th century built Jagdish Temple in the old town followed by a visit to the Sahelion-ki-Bari (Garden of the Handmaidens). Towards the evening, enjoy a boat cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola. Alternatively, you have an option of taking a guided walk in the old city which takes you to the ghats and historic temples on the banks of Lake Pichola. Tonight’s dinner will be arranged at the Sunset Terrace of Fateh Prakash Palace. Live musicians add to the magic all around.
Morning is at your leisure. In the afternoon, transfer to airport for your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, check in to an airport hotel where rooms will be booked for wash and change use. After dinner, check in to your flight for onward destination.
