Upon arrival in Tokyo, you will be met in the arrivals area of the airport and then assisted in boarding your reserved transportation to the hotel. After check-in at your hotel, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Stay two nights in Tokyo.
Take a half day orientation tour of the city sites, including the Imperial Palace (drive-by), the Tsukiji Outer Market, Tokyo Skytree Town, Senso-ji Temple and Nakamise Shopping Street, and then have the afternoon free at your leisure.
Enjoy a full day excursion to the city of Kamakura to see the Kotoku-in Temple and the Great Buddha, the Hokoku-ji Temple, and impressive shrine. Take part in a Green Tea experience, visit the island of Enoshima, and then return back to Tokyo for the evening at your leisure.
Depart the hotel for your guided tour of Mt. Fuji & Hakone. Visit Mt. Fuji’s 5th Station, take a cruise on Lake Ashi for impressive views of Fuji, take a cable car ride to the peak of Mt. Komagatake, and then head to Hakone where you will check-in to your hotel for your one night stay.
Travel by bullet train and limited express train to Takayama via Nagoya. On arrival, you’ll enjoy a walking tour visiting Yatai Kakan Hall, the Kusakabe Heritage House, and the beautifully preserved old town along Sannomachi Street. Check-in to your hotel for your one night stay.
Visit the famous morning market of Takayama and then head out on a scenic drive by Lake Miboro and along Shokawa River to Shirakawago, designated in 1995 as a World Heritage site. Its highlights are unique structures called Gassho-Zukuri, or ‘joined-hands’ farmhouses, the old residence of the Wada Family, and the Shirakawago Observatory. Continue to Kanazawa and check-in for your one night stay.
Enjoy the morning sightseeing in Kanazawa, visiting Kenrokuen Garden, an old Samurai Residence (Nomura Residence), and stroll along a traditional Edo-period street. In the afternoon, leave for Kyoto by JR Limited Express Train and then check-in to your hotel.
Enjoy a full day tour of Kyoto. Highlights include the Nijo Castle, Kinkaku-ji Temple, Imperial Palace, traditional shrines, and more.
After breakfast, transfer via shuttle bus to Kansai International Airport for your departure flight.
