Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be met in the arrivals area by your local guide holding a name-board. After a warm welcome and brief introduction, take a private airport transfer to your hotel for assistance with check-in. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.
Enjoy a full day tour of Hanoi’s illustrious history including a tour of the Old Quarter by cyclo. Highlights include Ba Dinh Square, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Hoa Lo Prison Museum, and the Old Quarter.
This morning you will meet your guide and then drive to Halong Bay where you will board a traditional wooden junk for your overnight cruise. A delectable buffet lunch is served shortly upon boarding and you find yourself getting acquainted with the facilities of the boat. The boat starts to cruise into the Bay and within the first hour you can enjoy this World Heritage Site. During your cruise, enjoy different excursions off of the boat including floating village visits, kayaking, cave walks, and more.
Enjoy the morning on the ship and continue your cruise through the 1000's of limestone islets rising from the bay. Upon your return to the pier in Halong, you will be met for your return transportation to the airport in Hanoi for your departure flight to Hue in Central Vietnam. On arrival, meet your local guide and then transfer to your hotel for check-in and have the evening at your leisure.
Today’s tour showcases Hue’s ancient to modern history on a full day tour. Discover the Imperial Citadel, venture into the countryside to see tombs of Emperor’s past, take a boat ride on the Perfume River, visit the historic Thien Mu Pagoda, and more.
After breakfast at your hotel, journey from Hue over the scenic Hai Van Pass to Danang where you will visit the Cham Museum, an elegant colonial building which now houses the finest collection of Cham sculpture in the world. Briefly pass My Khe Beach, the famed R & R location during the war, and then continue south to Hoi An, and then enjoy a walking tour of the old town. The walking tour includes a visit to the Japanese Covered Bridge, an ancient merchant home, the Phuc Kien local assembly hall, and the vibrant riverside market.

Enjoy some time at your leisure before flying south to Ho Chi Minh City where you will check-in to your hotel for three nights.
Today, enjoy a city tour with stops at the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Chinatown, and the War Remnants Museum and then head to the countryside for a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels.
Depart for the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival in the town of My Tho, enjoy a boat cruise along the river and take a short walk to a handicraft workshop where products are made from coconut trees. Experience a fun horse-drawn cart ride to visit a local house where you will enjoy tea and taste home grown fruit. Board a sampan and drift along the narrow, tree-lined canals for further exploration of the Mekong Delta, and after lunch, visit a family-run business before returning to My Tho. On the return trip to Ho Chi Minh City, visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda if time permits. Arrive in the city by late afternoon and have the evening at your leisure.
Meet at the appointed time for transportation to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap in Cambodia. On arrival, meet for transportation to the hotel and the rest of the day free at your leisure.
Depart for Angkor Wat in the early morning for a sunrise visit followed by a day out seeing the ancient kingdom's key temples. From the Bayon and through Angkor Thom, you'll spend the day with your guide seeing Angkor's highlights, including an in-depth visit to Angkor Wat itself. There is time set aside this evening as well for a sunset viewing of the temples if you wish.
Visit the graceful Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre temples, and then explore Ta Prohm, a temple which is now mystically enveloped in the jungle. In the afternoon, take a boat trip on the Tonle Sap Lake to see floating communities, and in the evening, enjoy dinner accompanied by a traditional Apsara dance performance.
Meet at the hotel at the appointed time for your transportation to the airport for your flight to Luang Prabang in Laos where you’ll be met for transportation to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.
Today’s early rise will give you the opportunity to participate in the early morning daily ritual of saffron-clad monks with their black alms-giving bowls being given offerings from the locals. Afterwards, return back to the hotel for your breakfast. After a leisurely breakfast, enjoy a full day city tour including visits to the former King’s palace which is now the National Museum, the food market, and Wat Mai. Take a drive outside of the town to see the Kuang Si Waterfalls, including village visits for insight into local traditions. Time is available to visit other temples this day dependent on your interest. This evening, climb up Mt. Phousi for a spectacular panorama of the town of Luang Prabang. NOTE: Royal Palace is closed on Tuesday.
Take a boat trip on the mighty Mekong River and visit the mysterious Pak Ou Caves carved into towering limestone cliffs along the riverbank. Inside the caves are thousands of statues of Buddha. Continue down river to Ban Xang Hai village, where the local residents create a unique rice wine called lao lao, and in the afternoon return to Luang Prabang for a short visit to traditional Lao villages at Ban Xang Khong and Ban Xiang Lek. This evening, enjoy a traditional Baci ceremony and dinner at a local restaurant.
After breakfast, meet your local guide in the hotel lobby at the appointed time and then transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
Days 5 & 6: Discover the town of Luang Prabang in Laos.
Day 5: Explore the historic old Imperial capital of Hue in Central Vietnam.
