Upon arrival in Hanoi, you’ll be met at the airport for transportation to the hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is free at your leisure.
Breakfast is included at the hotel followed by a half-day touring the city sites. With your guide, head to Ba Dinh Square to see the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and then stop to see the historic One Pillar Pagoda. Wander about the walled courtyards and graceful gateways of the Temple of Literature, and then take a walking tour through the bustling and winding streets of the Old Quarter. Return to the hotel and have the afternoon free at your leisure.
Meet at the hotel for your morning bus transportation to Halong Bay where you will board the boat for your overnight cruise around the limestone islets of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Continue cruising the bay in the morning and then disembark for your transportation back to Hanoi. On arrival in Hanoi, you’ll be transferred to the train station for your overnight train journey to the city of Hue in Central Vietnam.
On arrival in Hue, you’ll be met at the train station for transportation to the hotel. Enjoy lunch with local Hue specialties and then head out on a guided tour to see the impressive Citadel and the Royal Antique Museum.
This morning, take a boat ride to the Thien Mu Pagoda, a symbol of Hue, located on the bank of the Perfume River. Afterwards, take a scenic drive to the town of Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On arrival in Hoi an, take a walking tour of the old-town before having the evening free at your leisure.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then meet for transportation to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival, you’ll be met for transportation to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free at your leisure. Optional tours are available, please enquire.
This morning, enjoy a guided city tour. Highlights include a photo-stop at the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office, and then head to Chinatown and a local temple or pagoda before returning to the hotel for the afternoon free at your leisure.
