Upon arrival in Rio de Janeiro, you will be met by your local representative in the arrivals area holding a name-board. After a warm welcome & brief introduction, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. Stay three nights in Rio de Janeiro.
Today, enjoy a half-day panoramic tour of downtown. Highlights include a stop at the Metropolitan Cathedral, a walk through the Aterro do Flamengo, the neighborhood of Urca where one of the largest symbols of the city is located: Sugar Loaf Mountain. You will travel all the way to the top in two stages by cable car. After riding the cable car back down, you will be returned to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Iguazu Falls (flight is not included) and upon arrival you’ll be met for a transfer to the hotel for check in. Later, head to the National Park of the Brazilian Falls (entrance fee included). The tour starts with a visit to the Main Center of the park. From there hike along the most important trail of the park where you can enjoy an astonishing view of the waterfalls. Return to the main point via the panoramic elevator and then have the rest of the day at your leisure. Optional tour is available, please enquire.
Today, head to the Argentinean side with a quick stop border customs check. The tour continues to the Tancredo Neves Bridge over the Iguazu River, which separates the border between Argentina and Brazil. Once in Argentina, take a scenic highway up to the Argentine Iguassu Park (entrance fee included) where you will have a spectacular view of the Argentinean Falls, with access to the very brink of the awe-inspiring Devil's Throat, the largest of the Argentinean Falls, including the San Martin Falls. On the way back, stop to see the border of where Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay meet. Return back to the Brazilian side and to your hotel for the evening at your leisure. Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, and transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima, Peru (flight is not included). Upon arrival in Lima, you will be met by your local guide in the arrivals area holding a name-board. After a warm welcome & brief introduction, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Begin your half-day city tour visiting the modern and colonial parts of Lima starting in the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. The road passes a huaca or sacred pre-Inca site. There will be a stop at Parque del Amor (Lovers Park) in Miraflores for its magnificent view over the Pacific Ocean. The tour also includes the Historic Centre based on the Main Square, where the Presidential Palace, the Archbishop´s Palace, the Municipality of Lima and the Cathedral are located. You will also visit one of the largest colonial-era convents. Enjoy the balance of the day free at your leisure.
After breakfast, take a flight to the city of Cusco (flight is not included) and then transfer to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax and adjust to the altitude. Stay one night in the Sacred Valley.
After breakfast, you will discover the best of the Sacred Valley of the Incas through this route starting on the Inca's Balcony, a beautiful terrace with an impressive view of Chinchero. Afterwards, you will travel to Ollantaytambo, one of the most monumental architectural complexes of the ancient Inca Empire, and then spend some time in town, the best surviving example of Inca city planning, with narrow cobblestone streets. At the scheduled time, you will board the train to Aguas Calientes, near Machu Picchu. Stay one night in Aguas Calientes.
Visit one of the most impressive sites in the world, Machu Picchu, on a guided tour. You will also have some free time to explore the site on your own. At the scheduled time, you will head to town for lunch and then take the train back to Ollantaytambo or Poroy Station. Upon arrival, you’ll be driven to your hotel in Cusco. Enjoy the rest of the evening free at your leisure. Stay two nights in Cusco.
